The task
See every vehicle, every trip and every litre of fuel in one place
Dispatchers needed a single window for the whole fleet: where each vehicle is right now, where it has been, how it is driven and how much fuel it really uses.
The solution
A real-time telemetry platform
The platform collects telemetry from GPS trackers and the CAN bus, displays vehicle positions on a live map and stores the full trip history. The data stream runs through Apache Kafka and is stored in PostgreSQL.
